Free Yourself - Simplify Your Life

I am a firm believer in simplifying your life. As an adult, I simplify all the time selling clothes I no longer wear, donating items to Goodwill, and ridding my house of items that I no longer use.  Part of my simplifying outlook is my obsession with organization. If I could be a professional organizer, I would be in a heartbeat.  I'm not sure if there is much of a market for that in my area of Kentucky though.

Until then, I will continue organizing my home and my friends spaces for FREE, and if anyone would like to hire me, I am available.

Here are a couple organizing tips to help you simplify your life from the magazine, Real Simple.

Use a pants hanger to organize tissue paper and wrapping supplies
(I have a huge wrapping closet in my own home because I love to decorate packages!)

Use shower curtain rings as scarf storage

Use soda bottles as boot supporters
(I currently use wine bottles in my own closet.)

Use a step stool as shoe organizer

Use shower curtain hooks as handbag storage

Use a wire hanger as static stopper
(I have never heard of this - Cheers to hoping it works!)

Check out my friend Sarah's blog, This Crazy Blessed Life: A Little Bit of Our Everyday, where she features posts on her family's meal plan for the week.  Meal Plan Monday posts are always an inspiration. If you are like me, you struggle trying to decide what products to spend your hard earned money on when at the grocery. Sarah's suggestions always get my brain wheels moving as I aspire to prepare the next best dish. I hope they do the same for you as well!
