Cutest Show on Earth: A Circus-Themed Baby Shower

My friends and I planned a baby shower for one of our grad school classmates, Lindsey, and her husband, TJ.  We had a blast exploring favor, decor and food ideas for this circus-themed party.  Since Lindsey and TJ are expecting a little girl, we decided to focus on a red and teal color scheme to celebrate "their little peanut."  Below are pictures from the event.  Enjoy!

Welcome to the Big Top!
I attempted to turn my living room into a circus tent.
In the future, I would hang addition tulle to create a more dramatic circus tent look.
You live and you learn, though.
I made pin wheels for the first time.  They were so easy!

I just love J.CREW, Plain & Simple

I just love J.CREW.  It's plain and simple. I would buy almost all of their things if my wallet would allow it.  The style is classic, chic and timeless.  I just got a promotional email and feel in love with these looks:

All items available on the J.CREW website.

Hello, friends!  I know I have been missing from the blogesphere lately, but my schedule has been terribly busy.  I had a few (15) minutes to catch up on blog reading.  While reading, I came across this practical, but beautiful organization idea on My Yellow Sandbox and had to show you.

This is  similar to an idea featured on Young House Love that I shared in a past post on Jazzy Jewelry Displays.

Now that I'm in the mood for organizing, here are some other fabulous ideas I stumbled across.  Tutorials on these projects are featured on the blog, Liz Marie

Do you have beautiful, but practical organization ideas? I would love to hear what works in your space. Drop a comment. I will look forward to hearing from you!
